Supporting Preventable

Our PREVENTABLE patient advisors noted that it is important for a patient to hear about the study from his or her clinician prior to deciding to participate.
We are calling on clinicians to support PREVENTABLE by:

  • Supporting enrollment in the study for patients who may ask you if they should participate.
  • Referring your patients who you think would be a good fit for study enrollment.
  • Reaching out to your local study team if you have questions about your patient's participation and their clinical care. You can find contact information for your local study team on the study map.

Benefits of Participating for Older Adults

  • Receiving additional cognitive and physical function monitoring.
  • Receiving free study drug.
  • Contributing to a better understanding of how best to care for older adults.

To refer a patient or if you have questions about PREVENTABLE, please reach out to your local study team. If you do not know your local study team, please contact us at PREVENTABLE@duke.edu.
